About

Sara Gammage

Sara Gammage has worked as a professional theatrical Stage Manager for over twenty years. Raised in South Bend, IN, Sara began her theatre journey focused on performing. During her senior year of high school, she stage managed for the first time at the South Bend Civic Theatre; an experience that set her on course to study theatre, with a concentration in Stage Management, at Northwestern University.

Post graduation, Sara worked regionally in Chicago for over a decade before joining the 1st National Tour of Motown The Musical. She then continued working regionally before joining the Chicago sit-down production of Hamilton, remaining with the show for its entire run, before moving to Los Angeles with the show.

Starting in March 2020, during the 18 months that live theatre was shut down to Covid-19, Sara studied, and then worked full-time as a Paralegal in the practice areas of Employment Law and Construction Defects. In June of 2021 she returned to Hamilton to finish its Los Angeles run. Formerly, Sara was  the Production Stage Manager for the national tour of the musical SIX (Boleyn); currently, she is making her Broadway debut with All In: Comedy About Love at the Hudson Theatre.

In her free time, Sara enjoys scary movies, chocolate chip cookies, peanut M&M's, watching the USWNT, baking, the occasional boxing class, and continuing to download more books than she will ever have the time to read. She is also a heavy-handed air hockey enthusiast.
